Good Boy is a blacksite souvenir, a silhouette of obedience cut from 1/2" MDF and lacquered in stark acrylics. Modeled after a canine muzzle, the piece leans into its graphic brutality: collared, buckled, and punctured by grommet-like voids. The form is part restraint device, part fashion relic, and part haunted emoji, a flat effigy of domesticated dominance.
From behind, a programmable LED array leaks soft, synthetic light through the edges and cutouts. The glow mimics the flicker of surveillance tech or a neon sign in a windowless room. The muzzle becomes more than a restraint: it’s a language of control, of loyalty tested and teeth hidden.
At once cartoonish and menacing, Good Boy conjures a clash of kink iconography, suburban pet culture, and dystopian pop. It’s both leash and lure, a wall-mounted provocation designed to stare back.
